Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the Felucca mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the app. These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and Felucca. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

You may use Felucca only if:

• →You are at least 18 years of age.
• →You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract under Egyptian law.
• →You provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• →You have not been previously banned or suspended from the Felucca platform.

Felucca is a marketplace platform that connects passengers ("Riders") with independent watercraft operators ("Operators"). Felucca is not a transport provider, boat operator, or carrier.

When you book a trip through Felucca, your contract for the actual transport service is with the Operator, not with Felucca. Felucca is not a party to that contract and is not responsible for the Operator's conduct, the condition of the vessel, or the execution of the trip.

• Cash only:Felucca is a cash-on-arrival platform. No payment is collected through the app. You pay the Operator directly in cash when your trip begins.
• Booking confirmation:A booking is confirmed when the Operator accepts your request. You will receive an in-app notification.
• Pricing:Prices displayed in the app are estimates set by Operators. The final price agreed between you and the Operator governs.
• One active booking:You may only hold one active booking at a time (pending, accepted, or in-progress).

You may cancel a confirmed booking up to 4 hours before the scheduled trip time at no charge. Cancellations within 4 hours of the trip are at the Operator's discretion regarding any charges agreed verbally.

Operators may also cancel bookings. If an Operator cancels, you will be notified in-app. Felucca does not guarantee a replacement booking.

• →The passenger count in your booking must not exceed the vessel's maximum capacity as listed.
• →Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
• →You are responsible for the behaviour of all passengers in your booking.
• →Operators may refuse boarding if passengers appear intoxicated or pose a safety risk.
• →Swimming, diving, or leaving the vessel mid-trip is at your own risk.

Operators using the Felucca platform agree to:

• →Hold all legally required licences and permits to operate a watercraft in Egypt.
• →Maintain their vessel in a seaworthy and safe condition.
• →Honour accepted bookings on time and at the agreed pickup location.
• →Treat Riders with respect and professionalism.
• →Not charge Riders more than the price shown at booking time without prior agreement.

Felucca reserves the right to suspend or permanently remove any Operator who violates these obligations or receives sustained negative feedback.

You must not:

• →Create fake accounts or impersonate another person.
• →Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent bookings.
• →Harass, threaten, or abuse Operators or other users.
• →Use the platform for any unlawful purpose under Egyptian law.
• →Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Felucca platform.
• →Circumvent the platform by arranging repeat bookings directly with Operators outside Felucca after initial contact through the app.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Egyptian law, Felucca and its affiliates, officers, and employees shall not be liable for:

• →Any personal injury, death, or property damage arising from a trip.
• →Any loss arising from an Operator's failure to arrive, cancellation, or misconduct.
• →Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind.
• →Loss of data, revenue, or profit.

Safety notice: Water activities carry inherent risks. Always wear a life jacket when provided, follow the Operator's safety instructions, and do not board a vessel that appears unseaworthy.

All content on the Felucca platform — including but not limited to the app design, logo, text, graphics, and software — is owned by or licensed to Felucca and is protected by copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from any Felucca content without our prior written consent.

You may delete your account at any time via Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Felucca may suspend or terminate your account without notice if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Egypt.
